A WORLD WITHIN O TAO DO CHÁ
TEAnturaria
Colour as matter, memory and territory.
The research began with tea leaves and expanded into flowers, roots, bark, food residue, earth and minerals.
The origin
Colour reached me through tea.
Before seeking it in natural dyes, mineral pigments or the territory, I watched it slowly leave the leaves of Camellia sinensis and transform the water.
The field of research
From matter to colour.
From colour to language.
Plants, flowers, seeds, teas, medicinal herbs, earth and minerals become sources of natural colour.
Projects
Projects that deepen the study of colour.
From Plate to Palette and The Fairies of Natural Colours extend this research through food, art and education.
